St. Mary of the Mount Church & St. Adalbert Church
Pray. Ride. Connect.
September 9, 2023
Come together as a parish community for a bike ride, walk, and family friendly event! This event will celebrate International Day of Peace (held in September). We celebrate our parish namesake - Mary, Queen of Peace, and the importance of peace and fun in the community.
The event includes biking, walking, and family friendly activities! There will be two bike ride options or walk options for participants to choose from. You can join Fr. Michael Stumpf, pastor, and avid biker, through an advanced ride of the South Side Slopes or ride on the Three Rivers Heritage Trail for a beginners ride. The walk options include a Guided Walking Tour of the Church Route in the South Side or bring your pets for a walk through the South Side Flats.
The walk and rides will be followed by a Parking Lot Party at the Parish Admin Center Parking Lot. There will be a live band, bingo, lunch (sandwich and chips), yard games, raffle, and more. Enjoy your Saturday and spend time with the parish community. Raffle baskets will all have a value of $30. If you'd like to donate items to the raffle baskets, please drop them off at the Parish Office by September 6.
Registration is required for the bike ride or walk. You MUST register in advance (by September 6) for either bike ride. You can register online or the day of the event for the walks. Registration is not required for the Parking Lot Party.
The event will take place at the Mary, Queen of Peace Parish Admin Center (81 S. 13th Street, PGH, PA 15203).

All ages are welcome, but be prepared for stairs and weather. The route will start and end at the Parish Admin Center (81 S. 13th Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.)
