historic church ceiling restoration 2013

After 115 years the old lath and plaster interior ceiling of the church was in need of repair.  Instead of the traditional method of pulling the old ceiling down and replacing it a newer method of historic restoration was choosen.  It include the driving of 25,000 screws with washers into the existing ceiling and coating the washers and ceiling with a kevlar acrilic compound!
